Youth for Lourdes is a group of young people aged between 16 and 21 years of age who help and support the pilgrims who attend the Archdiocesan Pilgrimage. They are on hand throughout the journey and assist them day and night around Lourdes as well as within the Grotto.
Helped by the commitment and example of all the helpers, the prayer times and fun times, of which there are many, the support of those staying in the Accueil Saint Frai we all come together as one pilgrim family.
If you would like to consider being part of our Pilgrimage to Lourdes, which is a significant moment on the journey of faith for many people, do not hesitate to ask our YFL Parish Coordinator, Margaret Thompson, or Parish Priest for information. Despite the financial difficulties affecting us all there remains a great spirit of enthusiasm in our parish and young for the Pilgrimage. The support for the youth within the parish is strong with many parishioners contributing to fundraising events throughout the year.
